The first rule to improve your memory: NO EXCUSES !!!

I- Never believe a lie: Pond and sea fish

  • In order to change a belief: 80% is about why – 20% is about how.
  • You must always question yourself.
  • Create a new belief and make it part of your identity.
  • Beliefs are not like tattoos but like clothes!
Never believe a lie

II- Be HERE NOW!

Sun rays only burn when focused. In order to improve your memory, you must focus on what you want to memorize.

When you are at work be 100% at work and when you are at home be 100% at home.

Conflicts decrease Concentration | Peace improve Concentration

How to focus

  • Eliminate worry:
    • Don’t tell yourself: What if I lose my job -> But what would I do if I lost my job.
  • Know what you want (Purpose/Interest/Curiosity).
  • Stop multitasking.
  • Take control of your inner voice.

III- Bring Information to LIFE

Sounds are difficult to remember (they are sequential). Our brain is not made to remember sounds or sequential things. Our brain remembers more easily images or a sequence of images. So make movies and images in your mind about what you read and want to remember.

Use:

  • Senses
  • Exaggeration
  • Energize

Example:

Some Italian words:

  • Chicken is Pollo. You can imagine playing polo with a chicken instead of a ball.
  • Cat is Gatto. Imagine saying to your friend, “You’ve got to hold my cat.”

Some French words:

  • Book is Livre. Sounds like liver, so you can imagine opening a book and finding squashed liver inside.
  • Hand is Main. My main hand is my right hand.
